That's why it gets a two-star rating rather than the one-star I personally would give it.
And apparently I am not alone in this thinking. You'll probably refer to this book often, over time.
For absolute beginners I highly recommend: "Basic Greek in Thirty Minutes a Day (New Testament Greek Workbook for Laymen) by James Found". Supposedly he drowned in the turbulent Alaskan waters. It's priceless to have access to a little bit of the Crisp magic and I only wish there was more available from him. It places modern Turkey – and its sainted founder Atatürk – in the correct historical context. Published in 1979, the two have not changed a whole lot, though the stories have gotten funnier - droll is perhaps a better word.
The pessimistic Toad is procrastinating in "Tomorrow" until he realizes that he's down in the dumps because of all he has to do tomorrow - so he does it all today and tires himself out.
In "The Kite," Frog's optomism pays off
